What Is MIeFLEET?

Introducing the MIeFLEET Program… the State of Michigan’s EV Fleet Program for public institutions designed to assist Michigan’s public entities as they transition their fleets from internal combustion to electric vehicles. When approved, the MIeFLEET program will provide electric vehicles at $0 cost to Michigan’s public entities. The MIeFLEET program has been introduced to the Michigan Legislature and is receiving bipartisan support from legislators in the House and Senate. The MIeFLEET program will deliver on the Governor’s $45M commitment for the Michigan Clean Fleet Initiative, announced in February of 2023.

Impact

The MIeFleet program will acquire, deliver, maintain, and manage over 1,000 new electric vehicles covering the entire State of Michigan including counties, cities, colleges & universities, and school districts.

The MIeFLEET program alone will triple the number of EVs in Michigan’s public entity fleet, adding over 1,000 fully electric vehicles in 2024…. Cementing Michigan as the leading state for electrification and creating a sustainable plan for the EV future in our great state.
